Christopher Givens has served on the Board of Alderman for 11 years. He has been an community citizen of North Carrollton for 46 years. Christopher is highly engaged in various organizations within the community, from Carroll County Men in Black Organization (that raises health issues regarding men) to attending monthly school board meetings addressing the needs of our students. "I love this small town suburban community where everyone knows each other, providing a sense of belonging and support. I love the friendly atmosphere where everybody is somebody. The diverse backgrounds and perspectives enrich our interactions and foster a spirit of inclusivity and understanding. "
Barbara Duke Sheppard

Mrs. Barbara Duke has lived in North Carrollton since 2009, however her roots run deep in Carroll county. Both her parents were born and raised in the Teoc area. She has served on the North Carrollton Board of Alderman for 6 years. She loves the town and the community. "It is made up of close family and friend that take pride in our past, work hard in the present to prepare for the future". Well said, well said.
Lyndera Williams
City Clerk
Ms. Lyndera Williams has lived here in Carrollton for approximately 5 years now and has served as the City Clerk here in North Carrollton for approximately 2 years. She is a native from Illinois, however her family roots is here in Teoc, Ms amongst the McCain Clan. Her history is indeed rich with stories that would fascinate many. She loves the authenticity that the county life offers; its quite, peaceful nature has surprisingly captivated her attention and she has grown to love this quite, diverse but growing town. She loves serving under the leadership of the present Mayor Ken Strachan and serving the community citizens, especially the seniors and the youth; they are her passion.
